Join us for a picnic on the farm with live music! Bring your lunch and a picnic blanket, soak in the farm scenery and celebrate the start of the farm season. There will also be an interactive sculptural experience and children's art project led by local artist Kerri Schmidt. In case of rain, we will move the picnic inside the farm stand. We we will have a few chairs available but if it looks like rain, it's a good idea to bring your own folding chair! This event is free and open to the public.
Amelia Mason (fiddle) and Bethany Waickman (guitar) will play New England fiddle tunes - a unique blend of traditional Irish, French Canadian, Scottish, English, and Appalachian music with a few original tunes mixed in for good measure. They can often be found playing for contradances across North America with their trio, Anadama (http://anadama.bandcamp.com).
