This warm weather has us itching to plant, and we imagine home gardeners are feeling the same! We started selling a few cold hardy herbs and flowers last week, but as we get closer to the last frost date, we’ll start to have classic summer crops like tomatoes and zucchini. If you’d like a full list of varieties that we’ll have over the course of the spring, check out our updated 2026 Seedling Sale Descriptions.
In addition to our regular seedling offerings, we’re also for the first time offering a curated box of cutting flower seedlings! Flower types include zinnias, strawflower, cosmos, marigold, celosia, ageratum and bachelor’s buttons. We have chosen varieties that not only look nice together in bouquets, but that are also relatively easy to grow. They are all cut-and-come-again types, meaning you will have a bountiful cut flower garden all summer long! In addition, the seedlings are all grown in soil blocks, so no plastic pots! For more information on what’s included, check out our Flower Seedling Box Description. We will begin taking orders for the seedling boxes soon!
In other news, Mothers’ Day tulip ordering will open up Wednesday evening. We’ll have Blue Wow, Charming Beauty, Dreamer, Orange Princess, Pep Talk, Ranomi (New!), Sunlover, Sunset Tropical, Verona Sunrise, and possibly a few other varieties! Look for an email on Wednesday with a full list and ordering info.
Finally, we’ll have asparagus available for walk-up sales this Wednesday 11am - 6pm! You can pay by cash, check, or by credit card using a QR code on your smartphone. During this early season, we frequently don’t have large enough quantities to have asparagus every day, so when we send out our Mothers’ Day tulip email on Wednesday, we will also update on the status of asparagus!
